Amen! It's definitely my favorite, better than Neverwhere! (Obviously, seeing as I hate American Gods, any claims to that effect would be largely pointless.)
Stardust is the only novel of his that I felt he put aside his "OMG GRITTY REALITY WITH FANTASY IS SO KEWL AND DARK!" urges -- even Neverwhere had a bit of that in there. Whereas Stardust is just pure fantasy adventure prose and imagery. Sigh. Awesome.
