This is an interesting piece-- my definition of Artemis's "chastity" changes all the time. It's pretty cool to see a piece that doesn't her virginity *literally*.

My only nitpick with this piece is that it sounds a little like a modern woman's way of speaking/thinking-- or like a much younger/more innocent voice than I imagine Artemis to have. Other than that tiny detail, bravo on your first drabble!

Thanks for your honesty. This was a test to see if I can write in "mythology" tone to get myself ready for writing my new Artemis fanfic.

Obviously I need some guidance.....

Thanks :-)

Blessed Be!

Artemis is an Apollo's sister. They are twins. One of the formidable goddesses of

greek panteones. Traditionally she is a virgin. A symbol of clearness and

immaculate. Artemis cult lead out of ancient Egypt. It's nesessary to provide

explorations in this direction. Greek mythology is enough one but there's no

much of Egypt information. We have no origin sources but Gomer's or Plutarch

compositions. All other authors lived much later and therefore they have less

authority. There is a trust in last discoveries in archeology. Or dedutcial

inspections of antic latin and greek authors. Sorry for my english but I think you
can understand the way of my reflections. Write. Genn_s.
p.s It's a hymn to love. A literature work. You are good in information

possesment.

This is definitely a unique spin on the Artemis/Orion myth - though I'm not altogether sure on their having sex; didn't Artemis swear an oath on Styx? If so, Styx wouldn't have been thrilled whatsoever; it'd be interesting to see you revise and continue in this line of What If, though. (:

Good work - I enjoyed reading this!
