I've been having strange dreams. Dreams about the underworld. Not upsetting enough to call nightmares, just...strange. It could just be my subconcious remembering times past, nothing more. I hope that's all.

We've always been many, and he's always been one. That doesn't make him less dangerous. Maybe he can lose himself in the petty, stupid evils of the human world and leave us alone.

Sometimes I really wish my irritation at Ra was strong enough that I didn't care what happened to him. It would make life easier, and I wouldn't have to say things like "Well, at least he has Set to protect him."

I'll talk with him. He was not raised to be a little brat.

I remembered the first time I saw a dead body. I had to convince my family that I ran out of the funeral home because I was upset, rather than because I was having an epiphany. Interesting times.

You remembered all at once? That seems dramatic to say the least. I just got bits in dreams and flashes over years.

Yeah, it was horrible. I hid in a graveyard for about three hours, just staring at the tombs and the grass and muttering to myself in the old languages. Apparently, my vocabulary was roughly 100 times better when I finally went home.

They aren't terrible, they're just...well, just my memories. There's bad mixed in with the good.

It's odd. They aren't even the bad memories. I'm dreaming about Duat, the parts of it that made me happy. But there's something a little worrying about dreaming of the lands of the dead while I'm still alive.
