To say that Penemue has been doing a good impression of Captain Jack crying "where's the Rum gone?" in a entirely miffed manner would be accurate (...If he'd seen the film. He's generally a little scornful of film, it'd be one of his quirks except it isn't that endearing and is actually faintly worrying instead.) He has alcohol, a good man always has alcohol, but it's his best alcohol - the alcohol he saves for Sunday, the alcohol he toasts Father with and eventually collapses humiliatingly from. He can't use it, he can't.

...Even if it leads to sulking on his couch with a book.

No, even with a book it isn't his perfect idea of a good day. And so when the knock comes he jumps a little, makes sure to straighten himself to a acceptable level and saunters over. Fully ready to throw some venom at whatever idiot is disturbing his sulking.

...Huh, not a idiot. It's a good thing that he can't quite bring himself to regret the lack of venom throwing as he swings the door open, "Hello, you have drink?"

Azazel smiles widely at Penemue. Who should be fondly renamed Penny. Permanently. "Hullo!" he greets with unequaled enthusiasm, launching himself into the arms of his brother for a hug because he knows just how much Penny loves those. "Of course I do. I come bearing gifts from the gods of booze."

Azazel lifts the bags of alcohol as if he's lifting some holy sacrificial offering. He probably lifts them like that because they're very heavy but neveryoumind that.

He would protest, loudly… But, then, he always protests loudly. People might as well be amused when he’s whining passionately about everything that has ever existed (or will exist) under the sun.

Besides, he’s already grumbling slightly at the hug! A little more could do no harm, “thank Father, that’s something to smile about.”

…Vaguely quirk his lip about, as he steps back from the hug and gestures sharply (though less sharply than he’d greet most people. Consider yourself special, Azazel, this drunkard of a hedgehog is being less spiky than usual!) “Come in, then. Before your arm drops off.”

"Considerate of you to notice," Azazel drawls as he steps in. He, with delicate care mind you, dumps the load onto the first clear, flat surface he can find. After that, he turns, glancing around.

"Quite the place you have here, Penny," he remarks, not shy in his curiousity. It's curious to see how his brothers live their lives. How they each have their own way of filling spaces. Interior design, in Azazel's opinion, says a lot about a person.
