Arthur was, as ever, utterly free. He probably should look into getting some sort of job at some point, just to keep busy but he had a feeling his knights might keep him fairly occupied.
The weather promised to be awful which was a bit disappointing; he'd thought he'd left the dodgy summer weather behind when he left the UK. He wouldn't take it to heart, though.
He made his way to their new meeting point and loitered at the entrance, looking for a likely candidate for his old friend and ally.
Soaked head to foot, Merlin noticed someone walk into the building. He followed immediately and watched from behind him as the man just stood there. This should be him. He had the look of someone who thought they were important, which made Merlin chuckle inside. The only odd thing about it was that they appeared to be the same age, or close to it. This would definitely be different this time around.
Stepping further into the entrance, he shook his body like a dog coming in from the rain to rid himself of the extra water. The greeter seemed less than enthused, but Merlin just smiled. Walking up behind him, Merlin cleared his throat. "Arthur?" He asked quietly, squinting as if he was trying to recognize him.
With a quirk of his eyebrow, Merlin chuckled. "No one. Only a not so old man in a not so old body." He looked around the small dining area and gestured for Arthur to follow him. The table he picked was right by the patio, overlooking the water with it's millions of raindrops splashing across the service.
"So how have you been? Or more so, who have you been?" He smirked at his bad joke.

"Who's asking?" He folded his arms, oh, every bit the expectant monarch, even here in rain-soaked New York.
