Normally, Diva wouldn’t find herself doing something as senseless. She enjoying taking risks - she was a young woman, after all but exactly as that, she knew exactly when to jump out of the bandwagon and stop. Meeting a man she only knew from the internet, that was an useless risk, something she should not do, said the more logical part of her brain. But there was the illogical somewhere near too, pushing her to do odd things, to go with her instincts. And a big part of her personality was just that. Go with the flow ( ... )

Admittedly, Mortimer knew that at some point in time it might come out that he and his brother were the sons of Morgause, that their familiarity and connection went back farther than little Diva knew. He'd cross that bridge when he came to it, aware that it might not go as well as he might like but willing to take the chance. There was no reason to assume this would come back and slap him in the face, especially not when they seemed to get along ( ... )

It was not the same to meet someone live than someone online but still, Diva thought herself to be smart enough to, at least, bolt in case of any danger. Or sense that same danger. Right now, her mind was blank and at peace. Considering her odd like manner of feeling - sensing, understanding? - what others thought, the woman placed most caution aside and focused on the present ( ... )

As far as he was concerned meeting someone live was preferable to online; Mordred felt you could learn a lot about someone by studying their reactions and the anonymity of a computer didn't allow you to do that. Besides, it was far easier to assert dominance when the other person could clearly see that you were both bigger than them and more prone to violence ( ... )
