This was the first time I've actually known what to write for non-fiction first. I'm glad you liked it! It's very much summer here now, thunderstorms and fireflies and stargazing time, and I'm really feeling it.
"Good luck with the ceiling! I think painting ceilings is designed to get more on you than on it." We're having the tiles redone in both showers in two weeks. I'm thinking I'll sneak in there at night and paint stars, since it'll be a total mess anyway. I'll let you know how it goes!
Good luck! Just before the old ones go is probably a good time, since the paint that gets on them will be carried out with the old tiles and not get on the new ones. :) Might be easier to get a stiff-bristled artist's brush than to use a toothbrush, though; having the handle in line with the brush will probably help with aiming.
