So, I have officially accepted my acceptance to Edinburgh and I am excited about it. Also, Thanksgiving was good -- better than I expected it to be, which is fitting as it is my last one for at least the next four years. And, I'm probably getting my iBook next week as an early graduation present. All things considered, life is good right now, ( Read more... )

It may be too late to tell you this, but consider waiting until graduation for the iBook. They will probably be better by then.

Will it really improve that much between now and September? I mean its only like nine months and they just improved them all recently (i think) anyway. Although, admittedly, I know nothing about any of it (only that I like iBooks because they're pretty).

From what I've read, it's hard to tell with Apple. They like to be as secretive as possible with their updates and upgrades. But nine months is a lot of time in "computer years." I don't know. It's up to you. Whatever they add (probably just make the various numbers go up) may not be important to you.

(I did a tiny bit of research. One thing you may want to wait for is the next OS X version, Jaguar, which should be out soon. Otherwise, if you want it, you'd probably have to pay 130 dollars or whatever the upgrade cost is. Also, according to this site, you could buy now since it was recently updated, but they tend to update the iBook every six months or so, so if you wait it will almost definitely be better in some way.)

C'etait tellement drole. My class seemed to think you were a student teacher and then Jaffe was like "No, she's a tenth grader" at which point we were all amazed by how you looked so much older than us. So, umm...Bonjour as well.
