I do love Burt Hummel. I think you are right that Blaine gets very little support from his family. Anyway, great reaction fic; it's good to see Blaine's reactions from a somewhat nuetral third party.

Burt Hummel is my hero :) I'm guessing about Blaine's family, but based on what we saw from Cooper, and the little hints that have been dropped here and there, I think it's likely to be some kind of neglect - we'll just have to wait and see if we're right (assuming Glee ever addresses Blaine's parents).

Burt is pretty honest about the fact that he isn't a neutral party, but he did try his best ;D And thank you very much for the comment!

I love your Burt as always, especially how he'll defend Kurt to the grave but still has compassion for Blaine. Although now I'm all sad that this scene won't be on the show because that would help so much. I also love Carole's 'Am I a bad mother?" thoughts because I totally thought that about Finn getting shot too :)

You know how much I adore Burt, and therefore how hard I try to keep him sounding like the Burt who is awesome and can do anything - like having compassion for his son's unfaithful boyfriend. And yes, well, you and I are in sync about the Finn thing - as soon as I saw him getting shot in the leg, my first thought was "oh thank God . . . but er, sorry about the bullet in the thigh" ;D Much love to you darling, and many thanks for the comment!

I loved it! Cried my eyes out though, I hope fandom can get over the fall out and into the fixing things stage soon, my tear ducts can't take it for too long.

Thank you! :D I'm sorry if I made you cry, but I'm sort of glad I did too, if that doesn't sound too horrible. I'm thinking that fandom is going to be reeling over this for the next little while, but I'm also pretty sure that the fix-it fic is already in progress, if not already in the process of being posted.

Why not go for a cheerful Blaine and/or Kurt icon, and remind us all of happier times? Though of course, do whatever feels best for you, and as for your current icon, in reference to Burt: made of win. Thank you so much!

This has to be my favorite 4.04 reaction fic so far. Your Burt is so amazing and real. I loved getting his reaction to the whole thing, and how he still can't help but feel compassion for Blaine despite how much he hurt Kurt. And I really like your writing style.

I love Burt a whole ton, and while I do try my best to keep him real, hearing that he's come across as just that is both reassuring and wonderful :) I like to think of him as an overall compassionate and understanding person - considering all he's been through in trying to build up his relationship with Kurt. *hugs* Thank again! :D
