I just listened to both songs, very nice. Yu Fei Men is always a special treat to hear!
Among many artists I heard a lot last year, arumimihifumi (aka Ko Yuk Fei) deserves a spotlight if only because she's so obscure over here in the US. She does so many styles well, if you only heard a song or two, you wouldn't fully appreciate what's going on in her musical world, ha. =) Here's a few to try, anyway: Arumimihifumi-Hak Yi Yan Arumimihifumi-Yuan qi fan tuan arumimihifumi-Ji hao
Wow, what a sound! When you mentioned you ordered her cds before I assumed from her name that she was Japanese haha... so I didn't look her up. She does have an eclectic sound - even in the space of one song! Ji hao reminded me of 33岛 whose cd I just found after a year of looking. Their stuff sounds like a musical that takes place in a dream teetering between sweet and menacing. Thanks so much for the recommendation!

double qiao(大乔小乔) and the hz & wang juan(虎子&王娟) collab album were some of my fav finds of the year. ruins(废墟) was a pretty good one too, the album was from 2004 tho XD
