Super VC 果味VC New Album Preview
I think I'm becoming AM NOW a real Super VC fan. I just listened to
their new album, Great Restoration, and I'm surprised how much I like LOVE it.
I had their other albums for quite awhile before I was gradually able to appreciate their sound and consider a handful of their songs as favorites. But just one listen to their newest album and six songs are instant LIKE!
Especially track one - 1978
Track ten - 木偶剧 Puppet Show
Track seven - 夜空多灿烂
I noticed how they worked the audience better than alot of other bands at this year's Modern Sky Music Festival. And tonight I ran across this clip of a recent performance to promote the new album. The audio is crap but the energy is great and the end cracks me up. Watch the clip. The bass player is such a hotdog.

Tee hee. The captions under bass player Zhēn Yáng's pictures over at Sina read "甄洋的腼腆发型" & "甄洋的发型像墨镜" which translate "Zhēn Yáng's shy hairstyle" and "Zhēn Yáng's hairstyle looks like sunglasses" LOL! He's not shy at all when he's performing.
Guitarist Liú Tāo sang lead on track 10 Puppet Show...love that song!
