In my most epic transport failure since The Great Spanish Fail of 2004, I somehow ended up coming to Stansted Airport a cool 24 hours earlier than I meant to, which will result in me spending 2 nights and the intervening day in the check-in lounge. I mis-read my flight information and arrived at Stansted Airport not 6 hours early for my flight (making it an overnight in Stansted) but 30 hours too early - yep, I don't fly out on Tuesday morning at 6:30, but Wednesday morning... This might be the most EPIC FAIL that I have ever fallen victim to..... Wow. I feel like such an idiot. Hello,

I saw Ed Harcourt last night at the South Bank Centre, for FREE! It was the first time in awhile that I've been completely surrounded by hipsters - and I was the only one dancing! What I thought was one of the most useless and silly pieces of advice for an average chap has just hit me with a solid blow. Yesterday, about an hour after my workmate and I closed our coffee cart, it exploded. That's right - BANG! My Polish counterpart at work today explained to me, using a post-it note made into a map, the history of Eastern Europe between 1918, when Poland became a country, and 1945, after the world was re-divided at the end of WW2.
