Strike a pose - Vogue

Here I sit with my fat cat happily forcing her claws deep into my thigh as I force myself into a vaguely uncomfortable position to hold her fat arse up. No diet kibble for her though...she's big-boned and a little bulimic ( Read more... )

Nanoscience pillowtalk has got to be pretty damned sexy.

How're you enjoying the Wii? According to Gamerankings.com the new Zelda is the 2nd highest rated game of all time - the only one rated higher being Ocarina of Time on N64 . . . which speaks really well for how well the new controls work, I think!

Our Wii launch is a week from today - hurray!

The control is absolutely incredible, except a few of the shots where I feel like I am looking up Link's arse or down his head. Oh, and finding money everywhere but not having enough wallet space or anything to spend it on.

Even more impressing is the storyline and the nifty new items. I would rate it higher than Ocarina of time. Knowing what I do now, I would consider the game worth far more than I paid but I'm only about 2/3 through, if that.

quick thing...my mom was wondering about the name of the Cajun cookbook I sent your way. I know I still owe you some file, and I hope to pick it up when I'm back in the South for Christmas.

nanoscience pillowtalk is the best. in fact, i find nothing in this universe sexier than the prospect of nanopore sequencing

Yup, studied that and discuss how to produce one. We actually made a spiffy nanoliter culture device and tested its flow properties.

I guess what fascinates me most and causes far too many late-night discussions with Drew is the fact that all of the propeties of materials that we know and love change when the material is scaled down. Such as, when does density cease to have meaning? When does gravity become so unimportant? However, listening to a tiny Asian man discuss quantum physics and electrokinetics in the mid-afternoon still fails to keep me awake.

Of course, it explained one nagging question for me, how does intracellular traficking function so smoothly...it's all about laminar flow, baby.
