Doing Life

I haven't updated properly for a little while. I will summarise what I've been doing since I last posted. Well, my flat got broken into but the guy was disturbed so nothing was taken. I was knocked down by a bike on the way back to the flat after receiving the phonecall telling me about the break-in. It hurt. No one died ( Read more... )

'Cause he said they'd live in New York

I think he's one of the most dynamic, original, honest stand-ups I have ever seen, and I am immensely geeky about comedy. You won't get a sense of how quick and funny he can be from just watching him on mainstream TV - you need to see him interact with the audience at a live gig. His radio shows are also brilliant. Download a podcast. Go on, you know you wanna! ;> There's a link on the russell_brand profile.

The girl who was sitting right next to me looked massively pissed off until Russell came on! Had you threatened her just before the gig?

I love how shambolic Russell's stand-up performances are. When I saw him at the Hackney Empire he went off stage for ages, which I later heard on his radio show was because he had broken his belt and had to go and ring Paul McKenna from the toilet, lol.

That sounds so exciting about meeting Dave Gorman, he's hilarious. I have to say though, I'd be more excited to meet Danny Wallace - now he is one of my heroes <3 x
