heroes stole my x-man

But first... this morning, as I was driving, one of those magnetized advertisement things fell off the side of a very large van and adhered itself to the front of my car for a little while. I wish it had stayed on, I would have LOVED to have made that call ( Read more... )

I think Niki's power IS the super strength and that Jessica was just utilizing it. So, my point being what was Jessica's power? Could Jessica tap into people? Because in the V1 end, Niki uses the super strength by herself sans Jessica to take out Candice. And was that Jessica in the hall throwing Mohinder and Bob around or was it Niki? I swore it was Niki because they said Niki was "one person" now but then Bob made mention of "multiple personalities" that confused me to no end. I hope more is explain on Niki's behalf next week.

I love Elle already, lol. I just wish she had more interesting scenes. I think she's quirky...adorable but insane. I love it, mwahaha I have so many theories as to who her Dad is its ridiculous. I have so many theories about this season in general, ha.

The problem with Nikki/Jessica is that they're trying to be too complex. She doesn't have multiple personalities in the technical sense. I think she's a little like Peter, that she can absorb the powers of dead people, but right now she has no control -- so the dead person's personality essentially takes over.

She didn't really HAVE control in the finale, Jessica just LET her have control because at that point it was a 'common cause' situation.

Elle could be interesting, but this ditzy thing could get tired VERY quickly. I kind of like my bad guys remaining just a tad ominous and in the shadows -- as soon as I've figured them out, I'm bored and hoping for swift death.

Oh you watch Chuck too?! Love that show lolol. It's so cute (as is Pushing Daisies which you should watch as wellllll d: )

Micah reminds me of a girl. I don't know why but he does.

I feel like this season of Heroes isn't really THAT great so far. Some parts are but other parts are just like "eh." Oh well..we'll see what's gonna happen soon...

I think everyone's enthusiasm over Pushing Daisies is making me less enthused to watch. *shrug* I might do a summer catch-up session next year. ;)

Micah has a mustache already, how can he remind you of a girl!? ;) He does need a haircut though.

And meh, I enjoy for what it is. Once you start comparing any show to its previous season (unless the previous season sucked BALLS) you lose by default. Just go with it. :)

Seriously. I think those Hollywood execs read your LJ and steal your stuff! And why wouldn't they? You write better than them!

Haha that would have been a great way to make money. Inadvertent Advertising... it's Inadvertising! Hee!

LOL! Well, I know I mentioned it on here one time, but I think maybe I'm reading their minds. *cue Heroes music*

HA! Inadvertising. There's a concept they haven't thought of. Randomly drive by cars and shoot magnetized ads as you go by...

I love Chuck too. It's probably my second favorite new show (first is Reaper... 3rd, probably Pushing Daisies).

As for Heroes, do you think there's anything to the fact that Nathan and Claire's new BF can both fly? It just seems like nobody shares the same power (except the ones who absorb others), until Matt and his dad (if that's even true... he might have been BSing him to get him to let his guard down... I don't know if he had the mind reading power and then he developed it into the creating illusions thing or if it's a whole separate thing). So if the only people who share powers are those that are related, could that dude be Nathan's son? Which makes him Claire's half-brother, and EW. But that's a huge stretch. I'm just thinking it's not a coincidence they both fly.

I'm thinking there'll be something different between Nathan and Wes's abilities... speed, or height. Peter absorbs powers; Monica mimics things. Superficially, they're the same in a way, but on a deeper level, they're really different. Atomic Guy and Elle both have the ability to, in some way, manipulate energy.

Who knows. They've yet to really dive into how powers are passed on and whether more than one person can have the same power who AREN'T related. I kind of wish they would explain that a little, but we've probably got many many seasons ahead of us in which to do just that. :)
