I don't even know how to describe the rabid angst I felt this weekend. I don't know if it stemmed for boredom or from something else. It could very well be just boredom - I didn't do much at all, and the stuff I did do was pretty boring. I'm proud of me for not blogging while in full-fledge angst mode, though. My journal got some colorful

Oh man! I forgot that some of my Wiscon friends are in Madison like me. I suck.

It's an unpaid internship. So far, what I do is read a lot. We open the mail and answer submissions with "send us the first 3 chapters/the rest of the novel" or "ummm, no." Most of the day is spent reading submissions. Truth be told, as I only work Mondays and Fridays and there's been some wonky scheduling, today was only my third day.

I didn't go to the panel, but I had heard about it and thought it sounded interesting (and in retrospect, I don't think I liked the panel that I did end up going to).

Hopefully it's a goal I can achieve.....I wish you luck, too!
