I fail at keeping up with media reviews; here are the things I find worthy of commentary.

Keep reading Kuroshitsuji. It kind of starts off as a silly butler comedy, and picks up to have some mystery elements later on. Though honestly if you don't find the characters interesting at all, it might not be worth it.

That is good to know - I might try a couple more volumes before I give up for good.

I think my problem is that I've already read/loved Kaori Yuki's Count Cain/Godchild series, which has lots of butler-ness and mystery-ness. It seems like 'magical school girls' is the only genre I feel comfortable constantly revisiting, lol.

I couldn't get into Kuroshitsuji; I couldn't shake the feeling that I'd already read it.

That is good to know! I've already snagged them from used bookstores, and am trying to decide if I should read those first, or finish the Native Tongue trilogy.
