Easter Vigil at any Abbey is pretty sweet. Not only was the homily superb (the abilities of a priest as a homilist will pretty much make/break him, in my esteem of him), BUT THERE WAS A GIANT TORCH TO LIGHT THE EASTER CANDLE. Hopefully you will get more recs!

The only sports manga/anime I've watched in earnest thus far was Crimson Hero, a manga about girls (and boys) playing volleyball.

I'd heard of Battle Royale and seen the movie and I was very afraid that Hunger Games would be similar, mostly because I really did not like Battle Royale. Some things were similar (a lot of the things listed in the article I wouldn't have noticed and I think are probably coincidence), but I liked that Hunger Games had a different tone and wasn't sooo focused on the gore and the violence the way Battle Royale was. I felt like the characters in Battle Royale were just a backdrop for the violence, whereas in Hunger Games and Catching Fire it was the other way around.
