This is actually a collection of 12 short stories. In most of them, a character has a superpower, but Wood confronts them in a more realistic manner than X-Men. Ooo, I'm glad you liked it! I'm placing it on hold at the library. You should remember to write a shelf-talker for it, too, if you want.

Do you think it belongs in YA comics? I think we have it in adult right now.

In terms of "ratings," if Room cares about such a thing (I'm assuming we don't), there are tons of f-bombs, and a couple of nipples.

BUT, each one of the stories is about a young person, usually a teenager, a twenty-something at most.

If it were me, I'd put it in YA.

I'd personally rather write shelf-talkers about other stuff more than this. We'll see!

I think that Demo is one of Wood's best works - the timing and the originality is just spot on.

What I love about Wood is how different every thing he does is - I mean right now he is doing a Viking series, a hipster series, and a near future military-apocalypse.
