My daughter got her driver license today. While i am happy for her, uh I'm still not so sure its a good thing. My mother looked at me and said you know your're in for a head-ache now don't you? maybe she's right.

thank you, ah so you understand it nice that someone other that my mom gets it. My husband is no help lol, he thinks i'm being overly protective. Which may be true I do worry about her, and have since she was born. And from what my mom says it never goes away..cause she still worries about me and my sibs. :D

You know, it's funny. I can still remember being that age. Can still remember getting my license. And though I wrecked my dads truck...twice *blushes* before I was 18, I still think I was a decent driver. (both accidents weren't ALL my fault, damnit lol) I still remember driving all over the place, running errands for my parents, etc. But to even imagine my son doing that? *shudders* It scares the crap out of me! Maybe after he's had it for a while longer... *sigh* Who am I kidding? I'm going to be like this until the kid is 20 at least! lol

lol me too, I know she a really is a smart girl. So lets just hope she goes with her instincts then maybe she'll save us both the head ache.
