Yay! You went! You blogged! Thank you thank you thank you!

Sorry to get around to commenting so late, but we've been busy in the US destroying the future. I'm a-not going to think about that for a bit, and just enjoy our lovely boys instead.

So, I went and had a listen to Tohoku ben. Eh? It reminds me of a drawl, somehow. I'm by nature ok with that but ymmv.

The way Japanese stories are structured is so different than Western ones. I guess I like the open endings and lack of climax, at least sometimes. The strange use of comedy, though... It's difficult sometimes. I wish there'd be a dvd of Tono Monogatari so I could see how it is used there. Maybe I'd just love it. After all, I'm in the target audience for the play. :D

You might love it.

After talking to my Japanese friend she had the exact opinion as me: the story was a little difficult, the comedy was odd but Seto did amazing.

So I guess it's to each other's tastes. After all, I really enjoyed Tomo's Bui but my friend went and she was like 'I WAS SO BORED' xD so each to their own haha

Thinking back it WAS a good play and the story was good and all and Seto did AMAZING (no one can argue with that xD) BUT I personally wanted to be scared and I wanted more explanations.
