I can't say the show has gripped my interest, either. But it seems to be pretty well accepted by Japanese viewers, so I keep watching now for 2 things: Seto, and learning about Japanese experience of the work place.
I guess it's kind of like Mother Game was in part interesting to me because the experience of gender roles and parenting in Japan is different than in the US. Though, by the end of the 1st episode of Mother Game, I was hooked on the plot regardless of who was in it or how different the social situation is.
I didn't expect her too either! I was convinced she wasn't interested him at all on a personal level! It was obvious he was interested in her that way but OMG!!!
Aye, even though it very similar in the approach MG took, AH is completely different and the characters and story aren't great =/
