I feel so drawn to greater authenticity and heart-centred communication. I feel drawn to living both a more authentic and a more empowered existence. I don't want that to be determined by how much money I earn or what I accomplish, but I DO want it to be linked to a process of creating more abundance, in so far as I have God's help in the subject

Et voilà, indeed.

Especially if there aren't a lot of $$ in the bank, perhaps simplest is best as far as travel is concerned. Doesn't mean it can't happen, but what appears out of reach may just be that, temporarily at least.

I'm wishing you the best in your LOA (for that is what it seems to be).

As far as intellectual vitality goes, I have concerns about the situation in the US as well. As the perpetual war on "terror" drags on, I'm concerned that we're becoming increasingly myopic here. Europe has its problems as well, to be sure, but I do find myself looking to some current European philosophers in my attempts to gain perspective.

I had meant to comment on your last post as well. What I wanted to say there was that I was sorry that you were having the difficulties that you've been having, and also that the notion of releasing others from responsibility for maintaining your boundaries is something that has stuck with me. I think it's a useful concept.

Thank you for these comments. They do mean a lot to me. In terms of money, there is wisdom in your point. At the same time, its also true that I am trying to balance prudence with being a mature adult who realizes that sometimes my bank account can fluctuate a little and that is normal and ok. I don't want to live with too much of a poverty mentality either. Its an interesting issue, somehow. The digits will win in the end. :-)
