I've been thinking a lot about life post college - or rather, post institution of higher education. Up to this point, most of my energy has been spent taking in what other people write/say/believe. On my cynical days I call it getting a higher pedigree; in the more idealistic moments one could call it preparing for life

Yesterday there was a promotion at my school. In front of the cafeteria, hundreds of cans of Japanese soda were given away to freshmen, sophomores, juniors and seniors. On my way to lunch I took one. Yay for free stuff, I thought. It was even "grapefruit flavored
