Right, before I get back to belatedly chronicling my travels, I'll fill in what's happened in the last few days.

Christmas completely snuck up on me this year. I wasn't feeling it at all, completely disconnected. We got together presents for the kids, and I laybyed some Harry Potter lego (both halves of Hogwarts) for acerbicmuffin. As a family we chipped in to

i was thinking of you guys and wondering if the wild weather had affected you. glad it's all sorted now. doesn't sounds fun at all.

On the way... carpet (and hence room restoration) will be another week or more. Still, not much to really complain about!

What a relief that more wasn't damaged - but what a pain to have to replace the carpet!
