Honestly, it doesn't feel much different being married other than I feel happier. And every couple is different. If Frank stays at UPS and the same shift, he'll actually be able to spend MORE time with our kids than I will. He's off on Mondays & gets done work by noon T-F. And I would definitely have to disagree about wives having to give up and sacrifice for their husbands dreams and goals. It's a partnership. I give 100%, he gives 100%. I'm in the career I want to be at and he's actually pushed me to get there when I've just about given up and thought graphic or web work was impossible for me to get into. We're both trying to save up so he can go back to school and if there's any sacrifice when he goes back it's me not being able to spend as much towards the household and me having to do a little around the house. But that's not a big deal. He hates his job and I want him to be happy. Besides, his goal is to finish school, I already did that. I rambled a bit. Sorry. :-P ( ... )

Re: Lenox wine glasses. Yes, that was me. Guilty as charged.

As for the rest...it sounds like you and Frank have it sorted out--I don't think that ever could have been called into question. ;D You're absolutely right that marriage is (and should be) a partnership, both giving the full 100%.

I'm talking about the traditional social role, however, as portrayed in the media and my own personal experience while growing up. I feel much better for having gotten said worry out of my system.

I'm so glad I asked! When Gemma said Sam thought she got it, I thought "How do you not know for sure?" lol I feel better and they are beautiful! You've got great taste. I just love the different colors. :D ( ... )
