I am 36 weeks today! Everyone keeps telling me that I'm in the home stretch...but I don't really feel that way. I have a suspicion that the baby's going to stay put until after his due date. See... my sister was due on April 11, and she was born on April 20. And you've always reminded me a bit of my mother... matter of fact, aren't you 29? Because that's when my mother gave birth to my sister...

hey, i feel for you!
when i was pg, everyone did a pool for me at work, our EDD was 8/10 and they were betting on 8/15, 8/20 and so on - making me pregnant for EVER.
and just to show them, Emilia was born on 8/1. take that!

I think mother's suspicions can be very accurate, so I figure you will go as late as a lot of firsts go...

I just don't feel like anything is happening, you know? I do have BH contractions, but they aren't painful. I'm still getting heartburn and feeling full rather quickly, which suggests he hasn't dropped. I'm not all that crampy. I don't know...I would be shocked if he arrived early. I'm so sure about it that I haven't even packed anything for the hospital or birth center.

I totally hear you there.
I keep hoping... but the more days go by with the only signs being hip pain, diarrea, and some BH, the less optimistic I am becoming myself.

I think I gave you a guess of March 23. I'm sticking by that! For some reason, I feel like you're going to give birth a little before your due date.
