I am all for trying out breastfeeding, cloth diapering, etc., but geez, I can't believe how freaking MILITANT people are about these issues! APPARENTLY, formula feeding is now tantamount to putting your baby in the car without a carseat, giving your baby a can of soda, or smoking in front of your baby. *rolls eyes ( Read more... )

Hee hee. I liked this response.

I think it's fine to feel strongly about issues like breastfeeding and cloth diapering and all that stuff. I guess my problem is HOW some people present their positions on those issues. They make it personal, not objective. Personally, I would try to give people information about why breastfeeding is so beneficial and how difficulties can be overcome, not make them feel bad about their choices.

NOT that you did this! Not at all. I totally hear what you are saying and respect it.
