Soo the Izaak Walton hotel where I had stayed a few years ago basically ran off with my deposit! So it doesn't look like I will be going there this summer afterall. I had only found out about them closing when looking at tripadvisor on the internet! But it wasn't triop advisor that was saying it, it was some customer that had turned up to find

It's sad that the original holiday wasn't to be and crap that they get away with taking other peoples money :-( I think I'd want to know straight off how much the bastards took. Glad you've made alternate plans and the places look lovely.

I best get on with looking how much they did take, just had other things to be sorting but yeah not good to keep that one wondering!

How did you pay the deposit? If it was a credit card, the credit card company might refund you. It's crap that you had settled on that place and then they go under though. It does look really nice. And yeah, would be tempted too to go and picnic on their lawn or something! Maybe dig up a rose bush and take it home, lol! Glad you found an alternative though and it does look nice.

LOL I never thought of that idea, I may go see if they have any shrubs hanging about unless the bailiffs already took them! lol Your idea is good though, good job were not together we could be partners in crime with the imaginations! lol
