I know right? And "we compliment each other and together we are one" and just...the writer did a really good job of capturing Peter's voice (which, in the GNs, is rare). They turned his eyes blue AGAIN but ugh, I guess it's just an artistic sort of thing.
Hopefully the whole "I am nothing without Nathan's motivation" line will sort of save Nathan. Cause would they say that so explicitly if they were gonna kill Peter's soulmate?Would they? *wibbles*
I especially loved how Ollie wrote Peter calling Nathan, "Nate." Heh. It's canon now, sort of. I don't think it's ever happened on the show.
Yeah they made Sylar's eyes blue once too. I've pretty much accepted it. At least they make Milo look like Milo pretty damn well.
They totally ARE soulmates. It doesn't even have to be fanon or sexual - they just ARE. One can't live without the other. The writers would have to be Bat. Shit. to kill Nathan.
I'm really hoping it's Mohinder. I know there's a lot of Mylar/Matthinder shippers out there but he just doesn't do anything for me anymore. And better him than Nathan! D;

It's like I've said (with tears in my eyes) that if they kill one, they have to kill them both. They can't break the chain. They CANNOT. They were conceived as one; they will fall as one. But I hope they never do.
I'm really hoping it's Mohinder. That would NOT be okay with me, but if it's down to him or Nathan, the Petrellis always get my vote. Which is fucked up. I don't want Mohinder going anywhere. I really, really, really don't. And if they want to cleave to the canon they've established, it'll be ANDO, since his death has already been explicitly foretold (then again, that's also true for Peter, Claire, and Nathan, so...) - but then again, so has Jimmy the Haitian (in "Five Years Gone").
Shit. Don't kill anybody, show. Please. Just don't.
OMG, that's what we're been trying to tell you, silly boys! OMG, best webcomic ever. <3 <3 <3 I only read them when you say they're good (and Petrelli-ish).
Oh, and thank goodness, once again, younger!Nathan looked quite a bit older than Peter. *sighs with relief*
Yay Petrellis! For some reason, all of fanon has already assumed that Nathan's a swimmer, so I love the inclusion of the boyhood details. Though I was reminded of that part of Gattaca for a moment, what with the swimming out too far for one brother (starts at about 1:50, and uh, contains spoilers for the movie...obviously):
Oh brothers Petrelli, you only work together! Don't let anyone die! Aaargh the suspense!
There is a "to be continued" at the end, which means that next week, there should be more.
A lot of the webcomics are good - I highly recommend "War Buddies" and "Truths", if you want to stay Petrelli-centric. Both are Arthur stories, and both of them have been extensively referenced by me in Ritual canon... (Note: "War Buddies" is actually five chapters long, and be sure to read all of them; this was the first appearance of Arthur Petrelli anywhere, even if his name is not yet revealed. And in those days, I guess he looked exactly like Nathan. ;) )
Awwww... thank you so much. I wondered, it there were more Petrelli - comics. *cheers* Now I have something to look forward to. :) Thank you very much for the links. I'll memorize them. Can't wait for Arthurs appearance. Actually I'm pretty much fascinated by this character. ( That's so cool - I read about your references in Ritual, but hadn't managed to look up for the sources - until now. *gg* - Thank you! :)))

Meeh. The whole eye thing. That happens in comics all the time, too.
Peter needs his soulmate. They need each other so much. When one falls, the other catches him. :D
