Wait, is there footage of Milo and Hayden making out on set? Because that would be hot wrong. Really.
Also: I was AMBUSHED by a damn promo at the X-files movie. I am SO FREAKIN' PISSED. *growls* *beats head on desk to try to induce amnesia* Most of it I managed to tune out, but there was still stuff that was... well, really freaking spoilery. Gosh darn them.
And now everyone's running around all, "OOOO, I saw the first episode at ComicCon!" GAH. Time to go hide under a rock for two months.
There are indeed photos of them being very schmoopy on the set. That's one of the posts with the preview that really bugged me - the preview pic's nothing I didn't see in the promo that I linked to here, but it's a drag that this is being put in front of me at all. That would have been a truly awesome surprise reveal - and now I get to spend the whole season anticipating it. THAT'S the part I don't like. Sure, it's more of what the fans love, but part of why we love it is because the first time it came as a (very welcome) surprise. God, I hate trailers.
I'd love to hide under a rock for two months just because.
Yeah, I know. Like... I know the popular Petrelli-cester opinion was that Nathan would swoop out of the sky at the end of season one and fly off with Peter... but I wasn't spoiled for it, so seeing it actually happen was so amazing. I want to feel like that again. And yeah, that one bit in the promo I saw (maybe the same one?) was like that. It was something that would have been awesome if I'd seen in unprepared on the show, but now... I'm just going to be looking for it. Much like Peter, shirtless in the box at the end of episode one of the second season.
What is wrong with the people who make these damn promos??
And also... look, they may think it's just a split-second shot or one line, but... if you watch the show... you can extrapolate a LOT from that kind of crap, even if you're desperately pleading with your brain not to try to analyze it. I mean, I've seen... two promos, the one I saw today, and one of the first ones, from way long ago. And I already think I know what happened to Nathan and why, kinda. Just from that. And THAT SUCKS, YO. I'll just try to hope that I'm wrong.
Unless you've ripped through them already, check heroes_tv - it's been 95% spoiler posts for the last two months.
Also the spoiler thread at http://www.televisionwithoutpity.com is always a solid source. Not that I've EVER looked at it, but I am a regular reader of the Lost spoiler thread, because I only give half a shit about that show and being spoiled isn't going to make me like it any less. ^_^
the only on-set PDA I really feel like seeing is between Milo and Adrian. On the other hand, I am still waiting for a sex tape; it doesn't seem like anyone in Hollywood can bonk without videotaping it. That'd be one to buy - in Blu-Ray!
I agree! LOL @ the blu-ray comment.
I'm so anxious for Season two to come out. I've a friend who runs the entertainment at a Target here in town; I'm making him hold me a copy (they get in new releases a week early...sometimes two) just in case there's a mad rush for them.
Find out if it's a special edition, like they did last time! (I haven't yet decided where I'm going to buy mine - I'm NOT pre-ordering it online, just in case they toss out a special-edition switcheroo again. It was a major financial hit for me last year buying TWO separate editions - kind of by accident - and sure, I sold the not-special edition to a friend later, but I was still really upset about being forty dollars in the hole for a month. Forty bucks makes a big difference to me.)
As one of the mods of ninth_wonders, I just wanted to say thank you. We had a tough time bringing back this newsletter and I wouldn't be surprised if a couple of the lovely people I work with may have volunteered in response to your post. :) Sorry about the anonymous thing, but I tend to be rather shy and private when it comes to fandom and I don't want my role with the newsletter to become too well-known. Although you can probably figure out who I am if you do some searching.
Oh, good; I was hoping so, because the newsletter has been an invaulable resource for me over the past few years. I wish I could have volunteered myself, but my time is all too limited.
