My concern if they do renew it is that they will find some way to drag Peter and Sylar apart the way they always did with Peter and Nathan, and I want Peter to get to spend some more (screen)-time with his hot paramour. Plus it gets us wondering if, with all the time they're touching, Peter will take on all of Sylar's powers - or even just the Ability To Take On New Powers With Relative Ease power.
I do want more, I do. I want Noah to desperately try to Haitian the whole crowd there and use Ando to Haitian the whole city because Noah does not understand the scope of YouTube and twittering vids and doesn't realize that it's Claire is already trending on Twitter.
I dunno. The show has been rebooted. There's absolutely no telling what they're gonna do. They backed themselves into the ultimate corner. Gutsy, and yet really, the only thing they can do at this point. I don't knoooooooow. But holy shit, I'm interested. INCREDIBLY interested. Unfortunately, I don't think the viewing audience will be. :( I think it's too late.
My hope? A final season, a short one (12 episodes max, HBO style) where they just go to town, burn the budget, and go totally fanservice crazy.
PETER AND SYLAR are speaking in unison like a long-married couple.)
Yes they are. (Is it wrong that I love this pairing even more now? Though I am still fantastically, INCREDIBLY pissed off that they killed off Nathan. His and Adam's death I will always be angry about. >_>)

Yeah the volume didn't have much of a climax, but the episode and season had a heck of one - it just happened to be the beginning of the next volume

I don't believe for a second this kind of thing could have been kept under wraps for centuries so well. Well, the gays managed pretty well for a couple of hundred years - creating, changing the world, being active in politics, even writing the Gettysburg Address... So yeah, there's a precedent.
Violence and bigotry ensue for quite some time after visibility happens, though, so this should be very interesting.
I don't know if Peter's gonna end up with the scar as long as he and Claire are friends... or he and Sylar are friends, since Sylar now has regenerative powers, too. If Peter can heal, or be healed, he will never get that scar.
The possibilities are endless. Let's see what kind of hash they make of it this time (I HOPE!).
I liked it when, during the Peter-Samuel fight, when Samuel was dissing Nathan, talking about how terrible it was to live in the shadow of an older brother, Peter said "Nathan didn't let me down, he built me up". (of course he was conveniently forgetting the times Nathan did let him down, but under the circumstances that's okay). Peter's reply was a reference to incidents they've mentioned several times this past season where Nathan did try to build up Peter, teaching him to play catch, to fish, to run faster, etc. I'm glad Peter didn't even for a second listen to Samuel's bullshit.
I really, really do have to write some stories about Peter and Sylar, and what they found out about each other and themselves while trapped behind that wall. I wish the show had more time to go into it - rewatching that episode, those moments seemed WAY too short to me. But of course, all moments with Peter have always seemed paltry to me. I'd be happy if the entire show was about the Petrellis.

I see, in my future, an extensive story arc of Peter and Sylar in Dream L.A. Yes. I think this definitely has to happen.
Boy, am I behind; I've still got to do the Peter/Nathan fishing story!
