Yes, indeed, I'm goin' in. There are six weeks until Heroes returns to the air - and in that time I am going to try to rewatch the season so far. I enjoyed it so much, and since Hulu is being so nice as to keep all the season's episodes available, I'm damn well gonna make use of that ( Read more... )

I know you said youre pausing on Ritual but did you *see* the new online graphic novel? While one of the panels is made of wtf, some of the others are like fanart for your series.

Yep! I just read it now. See above comments for my reactions.

I'm pausing on WRITING Ritual; not thinking about it. :)

RABBIT-PROOF FENCE is a hell of a great movie. And there's really only one scene that devastates me - and it's pretty early on in the picture, so I kept weeping and sniffling throughout. And then I got REALLY ANGRY at Australia. Branagh also made me really love Shakespeare, too - HENRY V came out at the same time as I was doing my first Shakes play in high school, so I was absolutely steeped in the pentameter and the great storytelling and characters. But HENRY V was something of a phenomenon in my high school; tribes of girls went to see it multiple times a week for a year. And I just smiled a lot and said, You know that cute young teenager? His name's Christian Bale, and he's going places ( ... )

I haven't been able to obtain that show by any means. If anyone has any leads, I'm willing to explore them all.

Have you seen the crazy TV movie he did with Paula Abdul? I reviewed it on here somewhere... it'll be in the "other roles" tag... he looked great, and was creepy as hell, and made a mighty fine obsessive stalker/serial killer.

Butting in here to say I have seen that movie. Adrian creeped me out in it. But when she described him as smelling like DEATH and EVIL I couldn't help but laugh...

Milo - Future Post Heroes Career anonymous December 17 2009, 04:28:12 UTC
Hello there dear Mystery Sock

Saw your last post and loved it. Was just wondering if you had any further thoughts on Milo's acting career post-Heroes (I am very sad too about that but it is looming).

Do you think he'll continue to be a television actor mainly and if so in what type of roles.

Do you think he is having anxiety about his future acting career.

Maybe he'll go into producing and publishing more.

It is so wierd that all of the actors and actresses I really like never become big stars.

It baffles me as to why one type of attractiveness / talent goes mainstream while another doesn't.

Any thoughts?

Was just wondering if you had any further thoughts on Milo's acting career post-HeroesI honestly have no idea. I really, really don't. I don't know what his stature is in the industry right now; I don't know how he feels about acting, or what kinds of roles interest him - if he wants to do more cerebral acting-acting, or more action roles, or more sexy leading-man roles, or what. I really can't tell ( ... )

Your comments about MV's character and extra-Heroes activities were very interesting. I'd love to know how you came to those conclusions.
Careful study of everything I can get my hands on concerning him, reading his twitter feed, and rampant speculation, of course... ;) Certainly his charitable efforts are a large proportion of what he tweets about - in fact that's pretty much ALL he tweets about. He doesn't mention Heroes almost at all, and absolutely positively NOTHING about his personal life. Which is smart.

I found your comment that Heroes' lack of success in its later seasons could have a negative impact on his future career. What is your basis for that fear?Thirty or so years of studying the machinations of Hollywood, and how "chances" are given and earned, and how negative publicity can really hurt someone's career. Even if it has nothing to do with the actor. It would almost be better for his visibility if he had the reputation as a wild man, or kind of an asshole; controversy gets eyeballs, even when they're negative and ( ... )
