Wow - thank you so much: that's everything I could have hoped for in a response! I did try hard, and I'm glad it worked out; and nothing I saw in the preview trailers they showed in San Diego contradicted it, either, which is even more of a bonus. On the other hand it did give me evidence as to the future of Peter and of Nathan (notice I don't say "of Peter AND Nathan" as a unit; that is still to be determined) and thus I can write at least one more story set in that six-week time frame (and without being spoilery, either. The preview clips were absolutely extraordinary, but there was nothing in them that cast a light on those six weeks of space).

I am very glad you enjoyed it.

I'm just glad you read it at all! :) And yes, the panel was wonderful. I'm trying to make a post about just the Heroes parts, but it's taking me FOREVER and I can't seem to make my images show up. BOOO!

I think I might have to continue tomorrow; it's bedtime and I gotta go to work in the morning!

This was heartbreakingly beautiful. Sythan waking up as a blank slate was wonderfully done. I hope they do that on the show where it shows him waking up with absolutely no personality until he sees something familiar. I think it would be an excellent touch if someone like Angela realised this and moved his clock so it wouldn't be the first thing he saw in case it brought Sylar to the surface instead of Nathan so had that picture of Nathan, Angela and Peter first and foremost instead ( ... )

Thank you - and I hope so, too. It looks like they're taking things in an interesting direction...

I'm sorry it took me so long to read and respond. I do not have access in my home. I had to read in the library which was trippy. Anyway, it is an enjoyable read. I see that Angela is having some angst over the situation, that's good. I am still worried about Peter. Maybe these encounter are building up he emotional strength to prepare him for the big moment when he learns to truth.

So very good.

That's all right - I'm just now reading and responding to fics written in MARCH. I never mind!

I'm glad that you enjoyed it, though, and picked up on the details of what's happening underneath for all of these characters. I'm worried for Peter, too. Very much so.

I didn’t comment on this earlier because it was fairly overwhelming at first read, and I had to psych myself up to read both this and Ritual 56 again, properly (not a complaint, I promise) - so I gotta comment on both together ( ... )

)Er, sorry for the essay too long for one comment. But you packed a lot into these fics.)

That harem fantasy in the morning was creepy. As was his telling Peter to understand “you’re mine” ... from what I remember of Ritual, that kind of sentiment was something your Nathan always shied away from accepting or discussing.

Other people have commented about his analysis of his and Peter’s tastes (heh, critical, poetic analysis of semen ... ) but it made me feel so much dread.

It was right that Peter should drink of it, to taste the truth of him. The shame and mistakes and nastiness that was Nathan.
GAH

Peter glared. "What's that got to do with..." he began, voice tight with anger. When Nathan didn't look away, Peter blinked, and his defiant expression closed itself off, widening his eyes and paling his lips. He shrank away, shoulders drawing up. For the first time that he could remember, Nathan could actually smell fear. "What - ?" he tried to say. "I - Nathan, please, I -"GAH, again. This makes me scared for how much worse it could ( ... )

RIGHT ON! Yes, yes, exactly. Yes. Now let me get back to you on some details (because I love to):

As is the idea of [Angela] being downstairs from them, knowing that they will be together. It makes me not exactly sorry for her, but wonder what she would be thinking after what she & Parkman did, considering that she doesn’t seem like the type to be in denial.
Oh, she knows. She understands and accepts it - and in her way, she hopes that them being intimate will help to anchor Nathan in himself, because she knows that those memories and emotions run strong in him. I bold that because that will be important in a future story.

And that sense of things being different, to the point of experiencing Nathan’s weight as overwhelming when he tries to struggle, and his ... size, as different
That's my superpowers-in-real-world fanwank - in Nathan's form, all of Sylar's mass is still present, just compressed. He is, to be indelicate, 190 pounds in a 170-pound bag.

The idea that that’s one of Nathan’s memory-thoughts - excitement, finally, ( ... )

That makes me hopeful that things will turn a certain way in the later parts of this story. (Of course I might be wrong. And you wouldn't talk about that anyway, at this point).

He is, to be indelicate, 190 pounds in a 170-pound bag.
You know, I've never believed in calling attention to people's weight -- but seriously! Nathan needs to lose 20 pounds. Yeah, I called him fat.

I've been mostly avoiding reading post-finale fic involving people's takes on GMO Sylar/Nathan, because -- well, I don't want to. But I'm glad to have read these, because they're fantastic. And also because you obviously love and know both characters, and I know you wouldn't mess around with them to create some easy angst that wasn't properly thought through. I'm interested to see where this goes! *hugs*

I came across your Ritual fics through the slash awards and i'm just blown away! This one gave me the chills right to my toes. Peter's very perceptive, makes me wonder how long it'll take him to really figure out what happened to Nathan.

Awesome fic! :)
