Yeah. Always has been and always will be I'm afraid. Humans are too flawed to make that many promises without breaking almost all of them. These days it's just best to be your own karma. Create the world you want to see. Maybe it'll catch on.

I completely agree. Though create is far too optimistic for me. I'd prefer the word manipulation -- without its negative connotations, of course... Let's make our lives what we can. We have so much to work with without even realizing it. We believe that what we don't have is nothing short of a dream... but those dreams are just a series of steps away from actualization. The problem is that many of us, don't know how which paths to take to get there, you know?

Politicians are the worst forms of life too. A cycle of history that just bears to repeat itself. It's one of the reasons I never gave much of a damn about red, blue, or green, or the goddamn spectrum.

Hell, in this day and age, the word integrity doesn't exist. But, it sure looks really nice as fuck on an application, doesn't it?

It's nice to hear from people who aren't sitting with a cramp on the damn fence. And quite refreshing.

You're so cute when your activating.

I've never voted before...I guess I never paid attention or thought it would make much of a difference.

But if I can learn to drive a stick shift...I suppose I can affect the world too.

You shouldn't be commenting, we've got loads of books left to pack. I swear it's all I have. Furniture and books.

I'm glad we've still got the rental that you tried on. I would've feared for the life of the t-bird every time it stalled. It makes the worst dying noise. And you would've heard a lot of groaning and wincing... and not the good kinds.

Cute?

You know, you guys make me sick. Stop being so homo.
We need to go to a strip club, pronto.

How about when you go get your car back from Brandon's? We'll swing 'round to the club, ask Brandon which one is a good one... or we could try trial and error? Try a bunch?

You gotta leave the woman at home, though. I can't handle you two all up on each other.

Oh! Strip clubs! I love strippers-they have the best stories.

And don't be so grumpy Topher, I already told Joseph it'd be okay if he spooned with you.

Honestly, I think Obama's just as full of shit as anyone else.

Haha. Well, we'll see. It could all be an elaborate hoax...which often, I've had my doubts. But, you gotta put your ducks somewhere once in a while. It's a high-risk gamble, but there's nothing like playing the game, am I right?

I'll blame the struggling optimist for my hope in our failing country. And try to suppress the pessimist that peaked at the end of that last sentence.

See, I used to be hardcore, go-for-it-all fuckin' Republican until the last election. I'll give you that it's a high-risk gamble, though.

I don't really like either of the candidates to be completely honest, and the only one I remotely like is Biden - he's more my style and it blows my fuckin' mind that he's Democrat. I used to like McCain until he got that crazy-ass Alaskan bitch on for VP.

Ah, so you're part of the reason for why we've got "Sleepy" snoozing in the White House. =]

To be honest, I never cared about politics. I came from parents that were anti-war activists and so any thoughts on war or politics were always on the intellectual variant, you know? If I actually cared, it'd be like playing the game Risk and realizing halfway through that you made the worst mistake during your first turn and you're fucked. From both ends. For god-knows-how-many terms. And I mean, if Obama gets elected and turns out like every other politician then I'll call it game over and move to France.

You like Biden? That's so strange. A lot of people I talk to really like Obama, but can't stand Biden. He's this weird blend, I guess he just came out looking more blue than red? It is unreal though that he's a democrat... considering his stand on a lot of things and just where he came from. And dude, I agree with you on Palin... she needs to go back to Alaska and stop sending stupid signals over the airwaves. I feel like I lose ( ... )
