Had he been a noble who had been one for his whole life, he might have frowned at the simplicity of the place Taylor had chosen, at least mentally, but he didn't. He only smiled pleasantly at nothing, at the people he passed, and at Taylor as he sweeped over to the table Taylor had chosen, and swiftly sat down.
"Good afternoon~ Or evening, perhaps."
Time was such a fickle thing, after all. Who knew how to really measure it.

"I think either works for now. Good evening, Vincent. I take it you didn't find this place too difficult to find."
He made a small gesture with his hand at the waitress who was hovering in the doorway of the cafe, lifting two fingers briefly before they exchanged a nod and she vanished away. He paused then as if realising a mistake, his brow furrowing as he glanced back at Vincent once more.
"Ah... I'm sorry. I just realised that's a kind of habit now; I'm used to just ordering two coffees here as standard. I should have asked if you'd prefer something else."
He gave an apologetic look before adding "If it's not to your taste I can of course change the order."

Vincent preferred tea, really, but... well, he wasn't all that picky in general, mostly. And he wasn't about to put Taylor through the effort of changing the order, as little as that effort might be, and so, he only shook his head as he moved one leg over the other.
"Coffee is fine."

He attempted not to linger on the point outwardly, but he did make a note to himself to be more aware in future. So he continued to smile politely, his fingers lacing together as he rested his chin upon them.
"How are you and Miss Ada settling in? I mean, I realise the situation is not ideal, but I mean how do you feel you're getting on, all considered?"
