Ethnic Discrimination

I come from Australia. SYDNEY no doubt, where multiculturalism is what sydney is all about. But i feel within my own peer groups and just in general that i am discriminated for my ethnicity by other asians mostly. Caucasians that i know are pretty respectful and normal in comparison. wow that sucks aka, those asian kids in sydney are lil bitches arent they. but you shouldn't let other stupid ignorant people get in your way of pursuing what you love and if you have to be stuck with them throughout the japanese program so be it. they are probably just shocked to see someone so pretty and native like you interested in a totally different culture. give them time to get used to it and you should too because i'm sure they'll accept ya whoever and however you are. i praise you all this time for trying to do what you want, being independent and strong minded definitely suits you more xD

and that's awesome! free language lessons *_*

lol yeah i think it's just a whole culture thing. Like in sydney. It's all multicultural and people tend to stick with their social groups who reflect a similar culture growing up...lol i just get along with a lot of them so i guess it's a bit of the unknown that people are scared about. hehe thanks ^^

i think the lessons are a bit dodgy haha but atleast i will learn a bit of kana xD I keep telling myself i will learn it but i never do...haha

Oh and my uni is starting free japanese movie night every monday!! I'm so excited about that ^^ I will only be able to go after my queer group finishes though lol...but still i'm so glad theya re starting that!

My sister is older then me and she always gives me the raised eyebrow and a bit of a smirk when she hears kattun blaring from my computer when i'm studying -.-'

Especially seeing as not long ago i was really into industrial metal (even though i still am)...
