Movies I've seen recently:

The Film is Not Yet Rated - What a disappointment! The subject matter is quite interesting to me, so I was looking forward to it, but rather than investigate fundamental social and financial issues at play here, this unbalanced, uninsightful documentary gets lost on irrelevant tangents and serves as a vehicle for smug ( Read more... )

I just watched 12 Angry Men last night, which was...refreshing, especially in light of the whole Obama controversy, if that makes any sense.

also on Sunday I watched Eden which is one of those movies that scares you away from getting married, despite the fact that it ended on a positive note.

12 Angry Men is great stuff. I smile every time I see it referenced in other shows/movies.

Hmm, I have not seen Eden. Worth watching?

yes! and now I will catch those references.

um, yes? I mean, it's dark, and very gritty (...in a domestic way) and realistic and painful, but it was good.
