My family is doing Secret Santa this year. Everybody gets to buy for one adult and one child, plus everyone gets to buy or make as much as they want for the baby

I never know what to buy my father, so I hit on the idea of getting him all the OS Discovery maps for Ireland. It'll take years, but I've nearly covered Clare & Tipp so far & he's thrilled with them. I'm not sure most of them will ever get used other than being looked at. Maybe you could get a large scale map for a favourite area & expand the area for birthdays in future.

My crew always loved arty stuff ~ drawing paper, pencils, pens; or books, but then I may just have odd childer!
