sSIMPLE FUCKING PROBLEM

i have this thing on another page it works but its like the same and doesnt work on the page im working on. this is what it is:
SELECT column, column2 FROM table
doesnt work. only shows column one. ive done all the variations i can think of SELECT `column1`, `column2` ectttt fucking ect does anyone know why this is o pathetic and will NOT WORK?

No reason why that shouldn't work. What are you using to do the query?

is your query in a programming language, like PHP, or is it directly to MySQL?

Run your query on the MySQL command line, and see if it outputs the same thing. If it outputs the right thing, then it's something about how PHP connects to MySQL.
