cures for pink eye...eternal_chimeraNovember 22 2007, 15:24:46 UTC
brew up a cup of strong coffee (no cream or sugar)
Get some clean cotton pads
dip in coffee (make sure the coffee is good and warm but dont burn yourself)
put on eye(s)
when the compressisnt warm anymore, get some more cotton dunk in coffee and repeat.
It should take 1 hour possibly 2. You may need to reheat your coffee in the process. I usually know I am done becasue the eye stops bugging me but I need to sleep. I wake up and its all gone.
When I get pink eye it is terrible. This works faster than any store bought/doctor prescribed ointment I have ever tried.

What is it with the ooey-gooey ailments these past 2 weeks? I just got rid of a pink-eye infection last week!
You can use tea as an eyelid-wash, too. It's the tannic acid that does the job. You can even use the warm teabags (squeezed damp) as compresses.
If you have no time for tea or coffee first thing in the morning (e.g. before running the kids to school), a make-up pad soaked and dripping with clean water to wipe the crust away will help, too. Use a fresh make-up pad for each eye. And DON'T SHARE TOWELS!
Nope, you were rude to post a poorly written irrelevant post to a COMMUNITY with clear rules and then visit my personal journal not once, nut twice to harass me. Take the time to read the community rules before posting or using a the wrong forum to respond.
