This is the first Ralph/Laurie fanfic you ever read? This, that I threw together in one sitting?

You must read some better Ralph/Laurie fics immediately. Try mapmakerfic and the Charioteer fics at maryrenaultfics. You could also read my other Charioteer fics, found here.

Lovely!

I'm not very far into The Charioteer, though I started it quite a while ago. No time for reading non-school books. ::sniffs:: I hope to have time to read it properly over the summer. I do adore Mary Renault.

Although I'm most grateful to have you read my Charioteer fic, I must say, "Stop it!"

Shame on you for reading TC fanfic before finishing the novel; it'll spoil the ending for you. (Will Laurie chose Andrew or Ralph?) Oh well, too late now--unless my story is AU, of course. ;)

I'm glad you liked it. Thanks!

In my defense, I was reading it because I read your HP fics, and this was connected. Also, I know people who have read Charioteer and spoiled the ending long before I started reading it.

very well written, they're so in charter! Laurie, with his "not very judging but moral" vision of life, who as usual let his thoughts travel a bit too much, and Ralph, more "material", who with a reality's simple observation brings the question back to its real dimensions.
I wish my written english was better, so I could tell you how I've liked the subtle implications you've put between lines. Thank you :)

Thank you! Thank you! I'm so glad that you liked it and that you felt they were in character. That's always the most important thing to me when I write one of these.
