Title: The Mary Sue Solution

Author: mysid

Rating: PG

Author's Note: I was thinking about the strong correlation between being a transfer student and being a Mary Sue, and it occurred to me that I just might have the solution to poor Remus's sad and lonely life-transfer him to another school. Oh, hilarious! And you managed to have most of the cliches!! (you totally forgot about the orbs of pure cristaline amathist. tsk, tsk, shame on you.)

Awww, that means you won't write the sequel yourself? *Pouts*

I did go for the cliche of Remus staring at Sirius's "silver orbs"-- only to follow it up by mentioning that Sirius was carrying a basketful of "silver orbs" that they'd transfigured in lessons for something-- but I decided to keep the Mary Sue cliches with the two Mary Sues.

As for the sequel, I'd consider writing it, but given my track record lately, I'd probably never finish it. (At the moment, my computer may be storing more unfinished stories than finished ones.)

What a great parody on the cliches.

I hope you write the second act - you have to mention the mating for life...

BWAHAHAHAHA! I love it. Remus makes the perfect Sue, really. Actually, Sirius would too, lol. I loved the "sparks" conversation, and Remus's choice of school to transfer to, and his hilarious line of reasoning for it. Loved Gary Stu snogging Sirius. Figures he'd choose Sirius. Loved the "visions". You got so many of the cliches, lol. Are you working on the sequel, or is it still open?

It's completely open; have fun with it if you wish. I'd love to see the Mary Sue version of Remus at his new school.

Thanks for telling what you liked!
