FIC: Rite of Passage

After OotP ripped out my heart, and DH stomped on it, I stopped writing Harry Potter fanfic, and then, eventually stopped writing any fanfic at all. But I've been going through old unfinished WIPs on my laptop, and I started trying to finish them. This one was closest to being complete, and after a few minor edits, here it is

Thanks! It's been slow going working on the other WIPs I'm trying to finish; I'm out of the fanfic habit.

It's hard to believe that it's been that long since you've posted fic.

I got a bit unnerved and scared away from reading R/S in the Potterverse after book 6 -- it was my first fandom and people were so angry...

I've recently, the past year or so, been reading R/S again. I don't know who anyone is, and I don't have any writers I follow yet. I'm happily looking forward to your multi-chapter story.

I liked the dragon to Draco circle in this story. I can see movie!Lucius with his thin-lipped smirk being pleased to have his little joke. And, I felt very bad for 10 year old Sirius, stroking the (tufted) tail of a werewolf pelt -- it must have haunted him later, that he had petted it. I'm glad that you had both Sirius and Regulus making some efforts to be in contact. It was a nice contrast to Lucius' attitude.

Wow ! terrible, this end !! lucius is so more dark in this story !! i loved the evolution of Sirius, how, with years, he understand things... So sad that regulus has choose to not speak to him...

I've always found Lucius to be a very dark character. I'm glad you liked Sirius's evolution. Thanks for the comment!
