He's full grown, right? He looks pretty small. What's he a mix of, again?

Yes, he's full grown. (2-3 years old, best guess.) He's a mix of Maltese and poodle. The poodle parent was probably miniature poodle, as he's just the size of one (16-17 lbs.).

The combo of black nose and black eyes are what do it for me. His eyes are partially obscured in these photos by his muzzle fur, but they are adorable looking up at me.

Well, they're both part poodle, so---

On groomers, they said that his groomer gave him a "teddy bear face" and that I should ask for the same if I want to keep that look.
