Heh, you're right. I've always thought Kate kissing Jack had everything to do with Sawyer.

Quite nice! I can definitely see Jack hoping for Sawyer's recovery wholly for Kate's sake - and Jack thinking that Kate was ever his to lose... True to character, and lovely.
