Thoughts on MJ's Passing
From the ages of about 2-9, I was obsessed with Michael Jackson. I have this distinct memory of being around 5 years old and actually contemplating whether or not MJ ate PB&J sandwiches or used the bathroom. I feel like I'm kind of going crazy
I zone out a lot when people talk to me. I'll just blank out for a good 30 seconds. Uneventfuly eventful
I finished my first year of grad school. I felt much more happy mid-way through during the winter. Now I am officially a second year and I'm already dreading the fact that I will be working on a thesis then being spit back out into the real world like a year from today. Most of my students are Japanese and have never had a peanut butter and jelly sandwich. I have to go to Trader Joe's and buy some decent bread for them to make them with. Ah, acculturation!
