I love this, but then I love the whole play on the interconnection between Young Wizards and Doctor Who anyway. And I love the whole aspect where everything comes around full circle. And the slightly confusing time references, but then again, that would be the case, with the Doctor being what he is. :)

I still think that Dairine should climb into the TARDIS and travel with the Doctor for a while, save a few civilizations, find out what happened to Roshaun, and then they eventually go away, alas leaving the Doctor alone again.

See, I have been working on this fanfic for at least five months, because I got stuck about three quarters of the way through. I had no idea how to get Dairine to realize it was The Doctor. And when I was finishing? I had this really great insight: The Doctor and the Fairest.

I can just see them circling each other and having some witty banter.

I've always wondered if that was the Fifth Doctor at the Crossings that day...just like I have my suspicions as to the origins of the people that Kit stood and watched landing on a shore thousands of years in the past, with banners of a white tree on them...

Thank you! I would love to see more crossovers, though. They're my favorite genre, as long people don't try to cross too many things. :D

And as long there's some way for the two universes to cross other than "something weird happened". That's one nice thing about the YW universe, is that they aren't tied down to their homw universe. Or even the ones that exist, in some cases. :D

Young Wizards are also very pan-Universal. The whole mythology in the stories has to do with the fundamental battle between good and evil. So, that rocks.
