It'll never happen. If she doesn't get the nomination, I bet she'll run as an independant. There's no way she's going to bow out gracefully.

I doubt she'd do that... I don't know if she could win. (Especially, given all of the bad blood between the Clintons and Conservatives everywhere.) She needs the Democratic Party, for certain. And many of them would never forgive her if she split the vote in 2008, and handed the win to another Republican...

But then again, it'd be a strong impetus for a Democratic President in 2012, if McCain does win this time.

The thing is, can she really go up against Obama in 2012, if he accomplishes anything at all? (Especially, given that their platforms are nearly identical in many respects) Will she still have the political backing to run in 2016?
