Assertion (I): If the SuperDelegates end up choosing Hillary over Obama, then many Democrats -- Blacks, especially -- will howl in anger at a circumstance where the popular vote didn't decide the day (again!), and may become extremely pissed-off. And to tell you the truth, I'm not entirely convinced that Obama losing to Hillary won't be the result of racism. Has anyone else ever visited a real estate discussion forum, and read posts where people are asking for advice on how to find a place that has...what...."lots of nearby hiking/adventuring and plenty of diversity in the town"?
Dragoon and I lived in Colorado for several years, and thought we might remain there. I read this "diversity" thing over and over again. "Ooo, Boulder sounds nice, but I didn't see enough diversity."
Finally in that discussion someone cautiously ventured, "Ummm, Boulder is really expensive...and there isn't a lot of blue-collar work...the 'diversity' is all living someplace they can afford."
I started to wonder, "Do you want the City of Boulder to truck in brown people? Maybe I could ask my Dad to show up, he's Asian. Or were you hoping for different ethnicities?"
Am I the only one who's noticed this?
Sorry about the hijack. Yes, I'll go back to my blog now; no, I won't keep wandering around the Internet tonight.
